Vegan Ketogenic Diet

206 days on my very strict detox diet, December 10, 2023. I have been doing a FMD (fasting mimicking diet) for most of these 206 days as well. What is FMD? It’s an extreme decrease in my food intake and literally I consume veggies, nuts, seeds, a 2 cup blueberry smoothie and carrot, beets and celery juices.

NOW I am fine tuning this diet to a Vegan Keto Diet to bring my body into a prolonged state of ketosis. What is ketosis? Ketosis is a metabolic state characterized by elevated levels of ketone bodies in the blood or urine. Physiological ketosis is a normal response to low glucose availability, such as low-carbohydrate diets or fasting, that provides an additional energy source for the brain in the form of ketones.  taken from Wikipedia.

From the research I have done being in Ketosis has a more powerful effect to starve the tumour, drive up mitochondria and support tumour die off being evacuated out of the body. Becoming a Vegan Ketogenic person is one of the most complicated of the diets but I am determined to find my way through this as well. I will document this part of the journey although I am unsure how I will organize this yet. I may just open a new page called Vegan Ketogenic Diet or put it on my Thriving to Live with breast cancer page. I will launch this when I am feeling more studied and researched on this topic. Please don’t think this is an easy process for me; emotionally, mentally and physically I am struggling in my way. If any of you have done a diet or lifestyle change you know how that can feel. My first response was frustration, a sense of giving up on life, thinking what more is left, the extreme challenge of letting go of even more foods, ones I had become attached to. Being around my partner who will continue to eat foods that I want and desire, dealing with my anger 😠 😡 👿 😤 when I have to handle my craving while he is in our shared space IS BEYOND HARD!!! It’s not his fault nor is it mine, it’s circumstances and I am dealing again with someone else in my environment who brings in temptation, IT ISNT EASY AT ALL!!! I think at times that maybe I need to be alone 😔 so as not to trigger these desires because it’s ALREADY HARD ENOUGH and I love my partner so I am destined to become so disciplined through the toughest training.

I am moving into some excitement around creating new foods, healthy, vegan, keto, and delicious. Any great alchemist loves a new arena to create in. I am busy busy researching and watching out for inspirations to create new delicious additions that I can ignite ketosis.
